“Designing a restaurant is about crafting atmosphere—where architecture shapes not just how we eat, but how we gather, linger, and connect through shared experience.”
The Burger & Beer Joint (B&B) at CityPlace in West Palm Beach marked an exciting new addition to the urban dining and entertainment scene. The project introduced a bold, modern interpretation of the classic American gastropub, tailored specifically for the vibrant pedestrian-oriented setting of CityPlace. The architectural design emphasized openness and flow—featuring large windows, a dynamic brick-and-steel façade, and an expansive outdoor seating area framed by tropical landscaping.
Inside, the space celebrated the raw energy of industrial design with exposed beams, warm brick textures, and a high-volume ceiling punctuated by natural light. Our holistic approach bridged interior and exterior experiences, creating a seamless transition between the bustling bar environment and the laid-back courtyard. The B&B opening brought a fresh, approachable atmosphere to CityPlace—blending local architectural character with brand-forward identity to set the tone for memorable casual dining in downtown West Palm Beach.
